I really wanted to like Gods, Monsters, and the Lucky Peach more, I liked the world building and the time travel and the different perspectives, but I felt like the ending was sudden and there was no denouement and I kinda got the fixation with grants in a post scarcity world, but it didn't make for great reading.

I've ordered The Black God’s Drums and it should be here soon.
