In this case, both the Leckie and the Wells are quite different from what I've read of theirs before. For Leckie, I loved translation state, but I haven't actually read the rest of the Ancilliary series, even though I liked the first one. For Wells, I found Witch King less easy to read than the Murderbot.

Interesting that you loved the Tesh. I loved the novellas (the first more than the second), but have put this one down and actually don't care all that much to pick it up again
