Monday is International Talk like a Pirate Day!!

And we're dressing up at work. There are posters saying so! At first I was all doubtful to hide my glee and then they showed me photos from last Halloween -- there were wigs and black clothes and broomsticks and jack-o-lanterns. And now it's dressing up as a pirate day. I'm getting paid to dress up as a pirate!

I'm thinking pirate-y, but also can-pass-as-not for getting to and from work. Black heeled boots (not because they're particularly pirate-y, but there's a sexiness factor that must be respected), black pants, black lace-up (alas, not very loose)shirt and a-la ascetic_hedony, sash options must be investigated. I don't think I have a proper red one, but I shall search. My clothes drawers are large and rarely fully dug through. Also, a gold hoop earring. Excited? me?

I'm so wearing stuff on Monday and talking to people like a pirate *grin* I don't think I'd be able to get away to speaking to people on the PHONE like it, but hell - the whole office is getting the whole shebang *grin*

Also, I was on nibblies duty for Slashcon, but I think you're going to win hands down food-wise. :) I'll bring my store-bought biscuits as backup.

I have no idea - I'm supposed to bring a salad, which I will, but I'm such a "bring everything" kinda girl. Oh, and I'm supposed to bring a dessert (I think). I always over do everything :)
