On a bird related note my dad has adopted a pink and grey galah (sp?) he found by the side of the road (decided to keep it when he was told it would never fly again).
And with camera phone, it boils down to how much your willing to spend. You can get a cheap one (about $200) with ok picture quality. The more your spend, the better the picture quality gets. Upwards of about $300 dollars and you get digital camera quality pictures and the ability to record short movies.
