1. Do you have an extended family?
Hah! This has become a slightly complicated answer. For most of my life, I would have said 'no': it was me, Mum and Dad, both sets of grandparents and polite-acquaintance aunt, uncle, and cousins on dad's side. I haven't been counting the unknown number of relatives in England because I've never had any contact with them, and to some extent not counted my great aunt and uncles on Dad's side because they all died when I was young. Except Dad was adopted, and has just found and made contact with his birth mother. So now I have two grandmothers (albeit one unaware of the other), and this potential other 'half'-family... Interesting times!
2. If you could have any hair in the world (regardless of price, compatibility, health, or maintenance issues) what would it be?
Ooh, good question. I had often said that when I went grey, I wanted to grow my hair down to my butt and braid it. Then I realised that while the colour would be changing, the thickness would remain, which would be Bad for my neck. Plus, I'm going grey now, aged 24. Thanks mum! So I'd totally do that, but thin it out slightly, so it didn't overwhelm my face.
On the other hand, I loved my hair when I had a number 2/3 shave. What I really want, then, is a magic spell to make my hair grow really fast, and change colour so I can switch between the two...
3. What do you want, right now?
For it to be cooler, so I could burrow under blankets to sleep.
4. What's the most physically challenging thing you've ever done?
I've spent the last few minutes musing over that because what me-and-my-perceptions think of as challenging and what my body thinks of as 'omg, what were you thinking?', this question has made me realise, are two different things.
Physically challenging to my body? Going regularly to the gym, and being 'bullied' by my personal trainer into developing muscle and strength, and the ability to run for more than 30 seconds at a time.
Physically challenging to my 'oh, god, this is scary, I don't think I can do this?' tumble rolls in both martial art styles I've done, or hurling myself into space in general (diving, jumping things, etc). It's still something I'm yet to master, but

5. Have you had any religious training or education, and did it stick?
Heh. Mum is an ex-Catholic, and Dad is a devout atheist. So I've never had anything much to do with religion: most of my contact has been through watching fundamentalists on TV, and baiting Christian chatrooms with pro-gay and -masturbation conversation :P.
I love churches/cathedrals, though. I appreciate religion for what I perceive as a 'tying together of community' (You're new in town? Come to church on Sunday...), and I remain fascinated by many aspects of paths such as Paganism/Witchcraft, Buddhism and Aboriginal spirituality. I often wish I'd had some sort of religious education, particularly comparative, but mostly I feel like I'm only just starting to learn a ... language, or a way of thinking that opens me to spiritual experiences.
Well, that went deeper than I expected :P
You all know the drill, right?:
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me!"
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will post the answers to the questions (and the questions themselves) on your blog or journal. (or in comments, if you don't want to spread the meme around... :P)
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions. And thus the endless cycle of the meme goes on and on and on and on...
