The Lit essay that felt all Doomy just sort of organised itself and fell rather smoothly into place. Tuesday, I figured my topic. Wednesday I slapped together a draft plan for a tutor consultation (she ticked parts, double ticked other parts and laughed in other bits. I was happily astounded). Thursday it just sort of smoothly transfered from brain, down arms/hands into keyboard and onto screen. And that was so lovely. I can only hope I get to exercise this new-found joy in the Grad Dip. Friday, today, and I've just submitted it. Minor panic when I found I couldn't find the MLA reference book, so had to go to the library to find the copy on reserve, then much larger panic when I found I didn't have the disk with me to change said conclusion/reference page, but managed to retype the final page of essay and references before the 5pm office close. Had fabulous coffee with
cupidsbow and friend, and while I'm here, I've been raised with eating establishments where you pay before/while receiving food. By the time I've drank/eaten, then participated in lengthy and intriuging conversation I will have forgotten I actually owe said cafe for food. It is perfectly acceptable to holler at my retreating back "You haven't paid!" I will return, and pay. :)
