BSG last night. Did I watch? yes, and OMG teh love!. I utterly adored. Starbuck, you rock my socks.

And someone put me out of my misery, please: the young black woman who seems to have a lot to do with running things, was she also Annie from DA and Elizabeth from Jeremiah (were they even the same people? It's been a while). I think I've bitched far more than is polite to [livejournal.com profile] cupidsbow about the overdone music in many things including Stargate. Now, BSG, there is a show that can do good music. Soft female vocals for the angst, drums for the action. Yup. Am also being driven deliciously insane by channel 10's use of Spaceman on the bits of the credits that they don't talk all over (that's a bad insane and also a different rant for when I'm not feeling so fabulously hyped). I think I'm going to have to get a copy of that song. It's like I have no will.

Talking of hyped, most of it has to do with the fact that I constructed one of those Ikea extension top of a billy bookcase thingy all by myself. Now most of my non-fiction books are up off the floor and stored and the bedroom looks better.

Also, Dad tried to print a photo he got as an email attachment and the computer informed us there was insufficient memory to print. Dad got all twitchy. According to "My computer" we have a total memory size of 5.99GB (my laptop has 40!) with free space of 947MB. Any techy person out there have any suggestions? :)
My god, this is quite something. [livejournal.com profile] chaosmanor found this thing called Gizoogle. I ran Keeping Vigil through it and came up with this:

Original lines:
"He didn't know, Jack. He was back in Central America, on a dig. The problem was, he was still alive. Social services couldn't legally sign me off to someone who wasn't my relative when I still had a relative alive -- ow. Go back in time and take it out on him, but leave my shoulders out of it, 'kay?"

Gizoogled:
"He didn't knizzay Jiznack . Aint no L-I-M-I-to-tha-T. He was bizzle in Central America, on a dig. The problem was, he was S-T-to-tha-izzill alive. Social services couldn't legally siznign me off ta someone who wasn't mah relative W-H-to-tha-izzen I stiznill had a relative alive -- ow. Go bizzy in time n takes it out on him, but leave mah shoulda out of it, 'kay?"

Not even going to try running that through the spell check!
