On the off chance that some people might not know about this:
When you've hit the button to send a comment or a post (LJ appears especially fond of those long and detailed, but composed on-the-fly posts) and you are confronted with the screen that says "Error: URL could not be retrieved, Zero sized reply etc" do not hit back, press refresh. A box will then pop-up saying "blah blah POSTDATA, would you like to resend it? blah..." you decisively hit yes and LJ spits out your post/comment as you intended. :)
(Also, you can highlight and copy the text as a precaution but the above method works as a safety-net when you forgot to C&P)
