Life right this second is pretty sweet, even if dad is having the biggest sulk that ever sulked.

Had a fabulous Saturday night falling in love with Due South with sarren and special_trille. Went home early to continue my essay research, now I have to sit back and start organsing it into coherent ideas/potential arguments. Went to bed at a sane time, got up at a sane (for the weekend) time and washed my hair.

Picked up a needle for the first time in about two years, got mum to teach me how to do a blanket stitch and sewed one of my rad-pads where the edging had come loose. I cross-stitched for years but have never actually sewed, so being able to do something like that (horribly messy, I suspect!) makes me feel all proud.

galacticanews is squeeing over the season finale and I'm very carefully Not Clicking and going insane with the anticipation. PostSecret is up for the week and it's a glorious day for a drive to Dragonfly's party in a few hours. Now, to go foraging through the fridge for something yummy for lunch.
