Was over in 15 minutes, and most of it was a tour of the library. Then into the back room for the "Um, so why should I hire you over anyone else?" etc. The person who was to be interviewed before me didn't turn up, so the confusion over muddled CVs (theirs were still on the top of the pile) quickly gave over to what I hope was well-hid relief cos yay! my odds just went up! I explained about the joy I feel at finding information for people. I'd already mentioned my love of shelving (choke). Pay rate is $17.90ish. Eighteen dollars an hour to shelve. ::boggles::
Anyway, I'm guessing it all comes down to how neatly I wrote out my address. You shelve items and file lecture notes, filling out sticky labels for the lecture notes, so they want someone with neat writing. ::sweats and curses her left-handedness:: Then again, my cousin is left handed also, and she has the most terrifyingly neat writing you ever did see. ::just plain sweats::
They want the successful applicant (this was way too informal for those sort of terms, but you get the idea) will start this coming Wednesday, possibly Tuesday they hope. So, I'll know before then.
