zebra363's today with chaosmanor and hithluin. It was an utterly beautiful place, all green from the rains with a running creek that completely left my pond for dead :). The meal was also spectacular, and I ate far too much. There were how many of us? 10? I turned a little soil then helped make plastic shields and later stake them into the ground. There were many people jumping on shovels and spades and actually planting things and were far more active than I, and yet I feel utterly exhausted. I need to go and wash my hair, and the prospect of lifting my arms over my head is daunting. It's the sort of weariness that more than sleep, I want someone to curl up with and snuggle on the couch, to fall asleep with my head on someone's shoulder.
I've got one week of prac left, which feels like something to do be endured at the moment, although I'm very aware that I'll need to wrestle vital information about the sememester assignments out of people, so it's important. It's helps that there's this bright glow of joyous weekend to look forward to: Swancon movie on Friday, Firefly withascetic_hedony and wobowikkles on Saturday *glee* and what sounds like a full-on takeover of the Dome on Sunday. emma_in_oz? How does Wednesday look for lunch? :D
