Had a fabulous, fabulous time. Sitting in the uni library on the Monday after, it's blurred into one long big happy of vidding and icon workshops, erotica readings and workshops and food and puppy piles and joy. chaosmanor for organising everything, but also specifically for being driver on the way there. Thanks cupidsbow for being driver on the way back :). I shall defer to zebra363 for proper con report and chaosmanor for photos of the frivolity.
Today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, and thanks to the combined efforts ofwobowikkles and ascetic_hedony (and the insistence of vegetariansushi I'm wearing the most gorgeous red silk scarf as a headcovering, along with two small gold hoops in one ear. Added to my black heeled boots and general black attire and I am feeling Teh Sexy. :D
There is also a red shawl with tinkling silver coins that I am terrified of wearing (around my waist, which after several experiments is really *the* best way to wear it) in case I cause damage to it when I sit down. I did have much fun wearing it while doing the dishes last night, and I'll wear it while I'm shelving, for that requires no sitting. *happyhappy*

I loved the whole lot... it was so much fun, and best bit was to spend time with people i don't ordinarily get to appreciate/spend time with... yourself most definitely included.

I'm clinging to the memory of the whole con, remembering what it was like to not having to think about what's coming up. Still tied up in uni semesters where time is measured by when your next assignment is due in, I'd forgotten what it really was like to live in the moment...then of course, it's only something you properly recognise once it's over. But to be utterly unstressed and occupied with joyous things -- I want it back, damnit! :)
