In other me-me-me things, I've got my assignment open on the desktop, but nothing happening. I'm feeling all discouraged and guilty about doing things *other* than assignment (she says, blogging, cos that makes sense *wry grin*) So at the late old hour of 9pm I'm going to bed and getting up early to see if anything's clicked into gear. 'Night all. :)

I remember -- cords and cables everywhere :). Do you know much about setting up a temporary LAN? Dad wants my music off the desktop computer, and I need an easy way to copy it over onto the laptop. Any ideas?

My first impression of you was "tall", not just tall, because I've had many guy friends who I had to look up to greet, but "big!" :) And you'll be forever connected in my head with the Woofette, and "tail! ow!" :D

Sitting at the end of a long table at the Dome cafe, my first fannish/slashy gathering ever. You were a few seats away, composing on the fly. I still don't know what fandom you were talking, only that it was about a grand dinner of some kind and every few minutes you would mime frantic running or falling back, and you were positively sparking. I remember thinking: "Oh, wow, I'm going to love these people." :D
