Weird smells. In hiding.

Mum and dad have invited people over tonight for tea, for some reason. You can tell when we have guests over: the house smells of 'meal' food way before tea time and the toilet gets cleaned. In this case mum and dad get faintly jumpy, and after the guests arrive there's purfume in the air. The parents tend to invite (straight) couples over, one half of whom will be wearing some kind of purfume. None of us wear it, so to my nose it cries 'stranger! stranger!' I put on my polite, socialising mask and performed well enough. Now I've retreated to my room and I'm amusing myself by trying to make



River, or as close as I can get her, in my limited avatar-making skills. And her hair type? Is actually called 'river' :)

After much internal turmoil, I realised she did actually need boots.

Out of all the senses, smell is supposed to be the strongest memory-trigger. Interesting/weird, cos it's also our weakest sense.
