Did anyone watch the Jeremiah ep? and Ground, sown with salt or something similar. I haven't seen it all the way through yet. (I recorded it). Knew, vaguely, that this was an ep that had turned people off the show in the US, watched until the first ad-break or so (5 people have been chosen for something, Jeremiah's meant to watch) and decided no, my head-space is fucked as it is, I don't think I can cope with it at the moment. Did anyone watch?

The one that was on this week? Yup, saw it and that and the half of the pilot I saw before I fell asleep at Kris' last we is the sum total of my Jeremiah viewing.

Um, my reaction to the ep was the same as my reaction to the pilot which was *shrug* I'll watch it if someone puts it on and I'm in the room at the time....

On the other hand Jason Priestley and Luke Perry facing off in that ep had me laughing my arse off. Jason was very cool (and very insane) in it.

Okay,

But what actually happened? I just need a couple of sentences summary so I know if it's something I could use as stress relief or something I should be holding off with until post-stress period.

Also, I'm pretty sure I'm buying the Xmas pressie for Jody, any ideas? :)

It was last week's ep, and had Jason Priestly in it as an evil dude with a serious messiah complex. JP was great! But the ep was very average. It was the first one not written by JMS, and it showed.

Apparently the next 3 or 4 are also not JMS, and then he writes the rest of the season. I missed last night's. I was too tired to stay up. Darn conference.

See you in an hour!

I watched the rest of it yesterday. First watching attempt, I was Much Stressed, and had warnings buzzing around in my head from someoneorother on LJ that this ep was the one that had turned many off watching the show, or something. All of that, combined with Dad hovering around in the background looking for something to do (I am slf-conscious about my viewing habits around non-fannish people, for some reason), meant that seeing that guy get shot on the cross made me go "woha. No."

Anyway, watched the rest, minus Dad and stress and quite liked it. ::lusty sigh:: over the dark-haired woman. Apparently Peter DeLuise directed it, or had something to do with it that got his name high ranked in the credits. He's a guy that has done similarly high-up-in-credits-type things for Stargate. Dunno if that means anything. Also, mascara that actually runs? I'm rather impressed.
