I woke up for part of the thunderstorm last night, then timed it perfectly to be able to enjoy the next round while on the bus this morning going to uni. I say perfectly because I was able to be in the bus, with the windows misted so the world became a place of hazy dark shapes in the white. Probably wasn't so perfect for the three people on the median strip trying to cross the road, while everyone who had decided to take the car to work that day splashed past.

Just got my marks back for the final archives assignment: 40 out of 50, which means a high distinction for me! Yay!

One group presentation this afternoon, one assignment due on Friday that I really need to make a scramble on, and a job application or two also due Friday. Then a week more of classes with no assignments due, which I'm going to use for study time for the two exams. Nearly there.

I woke up just in time for the 8am downpour - lying in bed all cosy while the sky went Boom! Crash! (Opera?!) The dogs weren't impressed either, they curled up with each other on Wendy's dog bed looking mournful.

Looks like it's heading a fair way inland, which means it'll dump water in the Avon catchment. Finally! Water!

Heh...it's been a bit of a nervous wait so far - hopefully this is the real start of winter. *continues raindancing*
