Actually, same net cafe, but it sounded good. I accessed my results for the last semester of my BA and they are as follows:

Professional Writing: 72
Creative Writing: 72
Lit/Gender Studies: 72
Cultural Studies unit: 69

They're good marks, I know that, but they're low for me. My distinction average will be maintained, but that 69% is a credit, the first credit of my entire degree, by one percent!. ::sulks, recovers::
Anyway, I passed, and I passed well. I'm now Maharet BA of only slightly useful things. I have fruit! And I just realised I really need to update my bio. Someone at the Slashgroper's smut reading evening said "You know you're addicted to LJ when you need to update your bio". ::is addicted::

I also booked my ticket home yesterday. I leave Melbourne at 10.10am on Tuesday the 21st, and arrive at 11.20am in Perth. The bizarrities of daylight savings and time zones! I'm not really looking forward to going back. Or rather, I'll be glad to be home, I just don't want to leave Melbourne! This time next week it will be Christmas. How unbelievable is that?

Speaking of timezone differences. I'm not staying with N at the moment, I'm staying with K and P a few suburbs over, friends of my parents, so friends of mine. But because it's so close to Christmas, K and P have to spend more time at work than they do at home, so they drop me off at N's and we do things during the day. I've discovered thru this that N and my perceptions of early, late etc are totally different. I get up at around 8am to time myself with K's leaving the house, so I've eaten breakfast by 8.30. N calls me when she wakes up, which usually gives me plenty of time to catch a tram down to the net cafe and type things like this. She just called me at 12.30pm, saying "I need to have breakfast, then I'll be ready," meanwhile, my stomach is starting to demand lunch. Just one of those differences-in-people quirks that's fun to play with in writing. :)

Another life ruined by late night slash-a-thons!

*chuckle*

They are good marks, though! Well done.

Ha! It was so worth it though.
::looks sternly at Slashgroper people:: we must do that again. Very soon!

Even overshadowed by The Fire, I've heard much raving about the listening party. I can't wait to hear it. :)
