Public Service Announcement to other Curtin students: that whole 5pm today thing? Lies. The marks are up now.
6 69% Information Studies 512 - Collection Management
8 80% Information Studies 514 - Information Organisation
7 76% Information Studies 524 - Electronic Document Management
I knew about the 80% because that was an entirely course-based unit. Still pretty damn happy about it. It helps a little to be able to tell library employers you got a high distinction in cataloguing.
The other two I'm quite startled about. I thought I did well in the Collection Management unit exam, so I'll have to go back and do the maths to figure out how much I got that only ended up with a credit (69%, oh, the dinction-craver in me hurts!)
76% for EDM! I'm happily amazed -- even in the exam I was staring at the questions thinking "fuck", and writing less than a page of repetitve information for most of the questions. Wow.

I'm still waiting for my fees to be paid (were paid last night so a day or to process) so all I know is that I didn't fail anything. GO ME!

Ask for a breakdown on the Collection Management one, saying you thought you'd done better. It may be that the lecturer has missed an assignment or made a counting mistake.
I think I've still got a week or so before my results come out.
