(Note: big spoilers for 2x10 'Hunted', but I know nothing of 2x11 and things will stay that way, cos I say so. Spoilers for... um, a couple of eps of Heroes, too)
So, before I shun my flist to stay away from the SPN spoilers (and when I say 'shun' I mean: they block the internets at work, damn them) an open letter:
Dear Kripke,
It is important to me that Ava doesn't turn out to be evil. If she must be evil, she's the evil that can be exorcised, okay? If she must be possessed, she was possessed after she got home from trying to save Sam's arse. As far as I'm concerned, she's been kidnapped by the demon as a lure for Sam, and she's going to be fine. I'm invested in this.
Also, it's important to me that she's not killed off any time soon. I desperately don't want her to be like the diner-woman from Heroes who was adorable and DOOMED no matter what Hrio tried.
Thank you
Maharet

I didn't have quite as strong a reaction, but it was nice to have a 'normal' female on the show who wasn't a victim of the monster of the week.
