Predictions for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

With less than twelve hours to go, and steadfastly ignoring the leaked copy, my predictions:



1. Voldemort will die at Harry's hand (which seems somewhat obvious, but you never know. It might not happen... or something).

2. Harry will live. I will be amazed, and deeply impressed if Rowling kills him.

3. Draco will at some point beg to come over to the Good Side, help out in the end and be redeemed.

4. Snape will not be evil (I hope...!)

5. Lucius, alas, will die.

6. Ron, or Hagrid, will die in The Final Battle. Probably Ron.

7. Harry and Ginny will get back together. (Perhaps that's more of a hope. They were cute together, and I like Ginny.)

8. I seem to remember at the end of book six that Dumbledore was sleeping in a painting? I can't find it in my quick reread, but while he may be around for advice, it's going to be Harry and Voldemort battling it out alone.

9. McGonagall will be headmaster.

9. Either Snape will get Dark Arts teacher, or Harry will be offered it.

10. If it all wraps up neatly in the end, Harry will go and be a teacher at Hogwarts. Or an Auror.

11. Will there be Quiddich? Battles on broomsticks almost certainly.

ETA: e_dan says Harry will be a Horcrux. Harry will have to sacrifice his ability to do magic in order to kill Voldemort, thus leaving him 'normal', but with all the confidence of someone who has been doing magic.

OOoohhh e_dan has a good point. I also think Harry is a horcrux, but it's more his scar. I think he'll have to die for that horcrux to be released, and then someone will hit him with a "breathe, damnit!!" spell and then he'll kill Voldie. But that's a very good idea e_dan has there..
