Renovations: half way mark

If I haven't babbled at you at some point about what I planned to do to my bedroom over my Christmas break, um, consider yourself fortunate!

Floor is currently drying, awaiting the return of the carpet that will protect the varnish from errant paint splatters while I/parents/black_samvara (now's a good time to say I think you're fabulous, yes?) and whoever else I can rope in paint the walls.

I was organised enough to take photos of most of the process. Go me. *glances over shoulder to check for the End Times*

Looking good. Don't worry, you'll get the last of the sawdust up in about a 6 months time.

Hmm, yellow? I guess it depends on the shade. I'd be tempted to go with an off white to make the room seem a little larger and brighter. Of course, yellow would make it warmer...

Thanks! I was thinking of a very pale yellow so I'd get the larger/brighter, and the impression of warmth. Of course, that was back when we thought the floor was jarrah. Now that the floor is a much lighter colour I'm all: "Indecision! Damnit..." *grins*

Well I guess you could re-sand the floor and stain it darker... *ducks*

Hmm, I see what you mean, the wood is a fairly warm colour itself. You could even go for a pale blue or lilac.

Or, y'know, feature wall with the pride flag painted large...
