Secretary

Being de-moled meant I was looking for some sort of stationary activity (yeah, I totally went there. Shut up :P), hence digging through the harddrive, and network, I finally got around to watching Secretary

I'm not sure how James Spader managed to look so unattractive, while Maggie Gyllenhaal was gorgeous throughout, but no matter. I was pleased by the simple, straight forward story-telling, and charmed beyond words by this:

"You are the child of god's holy gift of life. You come from me, but you are not me. Your soul and your body are your own, and yours to do with as you wish."

I googled to see if it was an 'actual' quote from somewhere, and was amused to see someone try and pass it off as 'from the bible'.

For some reason, I absolutely adore Secretary. I'm not sure if it's not a combination of things, but it's one of my favourite films. I mean, not in the top with Star Wars (LOL) but I own it on DVD, and I don't have a huge collection, so it's up there.
