I came into uni today a little early so I could ask about the closing date for the casual assitant was and I was told "this afternoon" I had a tute all afternoon so a panicked a bit and handed her the draft copy of my CV, the one with scribles and editing notes all over it. ::head desks:: Still, I'm in the running. Four other people have applied apparently, although I'm not sure if she should have told me that. They start talking to people on Wednesday and Thursday and job starts next Wednesday.

Hee! At least you got something in. And you'll certainly look keen.

Did I ever tell you about the time in yr 10 social studies when we had an in-class essay? I scribbled out a plan in the first couple of minutes. Complete with dot points and funky abbreviations and even little pictures (there was a crown for some reason, must have involved royalty).

The teacher marked my plan thinking it was my submission, before, obviously, turning the page over and seeing my actual 3 page essay with, like, wow, sentences and paragraphs. My plan got 14/20.

Your notes and scribbles will probably not hurt you.

May even give them an idea of your command of the english language. Which has gotta be a plus for a library-type person. Except possibly in Sunnydale, in which case a command of Ancient Greek, Sanscrit, Sumerian and Babylonian are probably more important... not to mention non-human languages.

Good luck :)

I'm totally up on the Ancient Greek and the Babylonian but I clear forgot about all the non-human library patrons. Dang! ::runs off to learn Ancient Vampyre::
