Random uni assignment update

It's 10.50. I'd planned to work until 11.30, eat something, go to work. But the thesaurus has been typed into and tweaked and 'oh frak, done something wrong there. How do I fix it-ed?' And it really needs to be printed out in word so I can check spelling etc but no printer in this lab.

Plus, a class seems to be starting around me. (must fucking remember to email thesaurus to myself). Going to do that right now, because I just remembered that was a rather important step in keeping all the work done this morning. Duh!

Random whine

OK, radio DJs? Why is it so important that there be talking over the start of a song? all the way to the lyrics? The announcer on 92.9 just had a really one-sided 'conversation' with a guy on the phone, stringing it out for two thirds of the opening of "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. Hello? We want to listen to that! And something similar was done on 96.1 this afternoon: the DJ barges in 30 seconds before the end of a song to say: "Listen to that ending! The way it wraps up in about 10 seconds flat? That's the single version." *grinds teeth*

On a better note, my thesaurus is shaping up nicely, and Continuum 3 is looking very very good in terms of me going. Whoot!
