OK, radio DJs? Why is it so important that there be talking over the start of a song? all the way to the lyrics? The announcer on 92.9 just had a really one-sided 'conversation' with a guy on the phone, stringing it out for two thirds of the opening of "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. Hello? We want to listen to that! And something similar was done on 96.1 this afternoon: the DJ barges in 30 seconds before the end of a song to say: "Listen to that ending! The way it wraps up in about 10 seconds flat? That's the single version." *grinds teeth*

On a better note, my thesaurus is shaping up nicely, and Continuum 3 is looking very very good in terms of me going. Whoot!

Though tripple J does sometimes talk into their songs.

I station hop constantly. For me radio is nothing to do with the stations, it's all about whatever song they happen to be playing that minute.

JJJ is far, far better about not talking over their songs, as is 98.5.

And yesyesyes, I still want "save me" :D

The reason is to stop people taping the songs .. its been a common practice for years
