I saw a few seconds of this while walking by the video room at Swancon and went off to Gynaecon wondering where the hell there'd been a suicide in the books and who were all these white people?
Just stumbled across this article which explains much. Still, I figure there had to be the shockingly bad animated version of LOTR before His Holiness Peter Jackson took up the challenge. So it will be with Earthsea, right? Right?

I saw the second half of the second half last night and Aki just pissed herself laughing cause all she kept hearing was..
"What?" "What the.." "SACRILIDGE!!!" "OMG WHATTHEFUCKPOLARBEAR!!!" and then "NOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo"
and then me walking around the house, shrouded in a blanket, muttering to myself "sacrilidge..traumatised.. need to read books..."
