Oh. My. God. Um.
Thoughts, coherent...when I can remember how to do those...um, things...LJ-cuts!
Oh, ow. I bleed. And I was damn jittery walking up our long dark hallway too. *shudders*
Also, River has beautiful, beautiful feet. I want to bathe them, massage them and lick her toes.
Oh, my god...

It's been so hard not to talk about it with people who haven't seen it.
And I keep the ticket in my jacket pocket....
I want it on DVD. I want to watch all the eps, the special features, and then put the movie on replay...
Except it hurts...
So I shall repress again for a short time
*Amused by your toe love*

Re: *nods*
I've heard seriously conflicting things about the Australian release date, with people saying not until November, but Reading seems confident of a 29 Sept release, which means we beat the US, which I'm assuming means we beat the world. *sits back and just plain enjoys that for a while*

All I can say is it better be an improvement on the TV series which I felt was filled with sloppy, lazy and generally annoyingly bad writing/chracterisation (my benchmark for such, to give you a frame of reference, is Babylon 5 and the new Battlestar Galactica).
Mind you I only adore the Serenity movie poster. Very classy.

But I'm a convert to the TV show, and the movie was a continuation of the show with a continuation of the characters and set up. So, I'd recommend adoring the poster and avoiding the movie :D. (And I'm yet to be introduced to Babylon 5 but nothing compares to Battlestar Galactia, you know?)

WHA? not seen Bab5? My god, till firefly came along it was the only sf series I considered worth watching (I still watched everything else, I just thought they sucked. So I'm a snob, shoot me). It is unique in sf series in that it's a successful 5-year pre-planned series (farscape **ALMOST** made it...), it has depth and development of ALL characters, not just the main ones, and it's gritty and realistic. Not to mention there's still a lot of mystery in the bab5 universe. Which, incidentally, bugged me about how they dealt with half of Rivers secret.... they just sort of casually mentioned it, and went "oh, you didn't expect that?"
But otherwise... *flops in joy*
