My parents have gone down to Magaret River for a week-and-a-bit, so I've been cooking in bulk (bolognaise), attempting to ignore the dishes and watching late night TV. This is not my interesting life.
But while I'm bored and preparing the mind for "going to bed soon is a good idea... a good idea..." I shall ramble. Channel hopping reveals that we're getting Threshold, Supernatural and Prison Break in the new year. I'll definitely be giving Prison Break a go based on what I saw at Fandomedia, but I'm all torn about Supernatural: the slash (and even the plain brother-interaction) is glorious to behold, but the horror Gets To Me. On that principle, I'm entirely avoiding Threshold which scared the crap out of me at Fandomedia. Also, I was under the impression that it had been axed, and that there was only 8 (or 10?) episodes ever screened. Would channel 10 seriously run a canceled show? And plug it like it is (as part of its New!Interesting Show! line-up)?
Also, oh, wow: the ads. I haven't seen the "adult matchmaker" etc ads since the days of taping Jeremiah and Dark Angel. Suddenly, that seems like a long time ago...!
