A while back the glass turntable thing in our microwave developed a crack. The inevitable has happened and I now have two halves of a glass turntable. Anyone know where to get a turntable thing for an otherwise perfectly functioning microwave? Thanks.

Contact the company that make the microwave in question. It might cost a bit to replace, but they should still be the best place to start looking.

Hmm, I suspect the call would go something like this:

Me: Hi, I have model blah blah.
Panasonic: Um, model what?
Me: Blah, blah.
Panasonic: We're sorry, we ceased production for that model about fifteen years ago...

But it's certainly a start :D Thanks.

given that sort of age, you might be looking at getting a second hand microwave for less than the plate might set you back...

Alternative, get a microwave safe plate and use that instead, or just go without a turntable at all
