(Still no laptop 'net connection, so this is a stolen moment on the desktop computer. Despite [livejournal.com profile] juffles's best efforts, and proving that it would in fact connect to actual conntections -- Thank you! -- the card I bought from Officeworks still refuses to connect at home, and Belkin helpdesk are refusing to answer the frakking phone.)

Anyway, now that we've (almost all?) seen the movie, I offer a gorgeous analysis of the cinematography in Brokeback Mountain. Well worth a look.

Hrmm...it's gotta be a security thing, that's what's tripped me 95% of the time when I can't get on a network. Belkin have a helpdesk? I have visions of them being worse than Telstra, for some reason. :)

Belkin's "helpdesk" has so far (on two attempts) consisted of a recorded message that says (paraphrased): "Due to larger than normal demands on the helpdesk, all our operators are currently busy. Please try again soon." And then the same cut of classical music interspersed with "all our operators are still currently busy..." Second attempt was a busy-beep. Haven't got through to a person once.
