* I am aware that for something to be a morning there is generally a night that precedes it that includes sleeping. There was literally no sleeping, not even in a "it's so hot, I can't sleep", dozing off at around 5am and waking up at noon. No sleep at all. I'm solemnly promising not to drive anywhere today. No one said anything about not rambling pointlessly...
I was doing my standard flist/email checks this morning at around 7.30ish while listening to my walkman radio, and managed to accidentally listen to an ad for an upcoming movie Hostel. By the time I realised what it was, I'd heard too much and was thoroughly nauseated. Deepest sympathy to anyone who listened to that while actually eating breakfast.
Also, could everyone in Australia stop smoking so I don't have to watch that throat/mouth cancer advertisement in Yahoo, kindly distributed by our federal government as part of its Quit campaign? Ta muchly.

Yes. I don't understand how the gov can decide that smoking is bad enough to show us pictures like that and legislate that they be on cigarette packs, but not think that banning the sale of cigarettes would be a good idea. Actually I do understand, it is a financial thing, but I think it is wrong.
